By downloading or using MenuPOS, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.
In short: We collect only what we need to run MenuPOS effectively. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your restaurant's billing data belongs to you.
2 About the Company
MenuPOS is a product owned and operated by Qubelex Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India. MenuPOS is not a separately registered legal entity — it is a software product under Qubelex Private Limited.
All legal obligations, data responsibilities, and contractual relationships under this Privacy Policy are with Qubelex Private Limited.
3 Data We Collect
3.1 Account & Registration Data
- Name, email address, and phone number when you register an account
- Business name, type, and address for setting up your restaurant profile
- Login credentials (passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text)
3.2 Business & Transaction Data
- Menu items, categories, pricing, and catalog information you enter
- Order data, billing records, and transaction histories generated through the app
- Table configurations, staff records, and customer records you create
- Payment mode preferences and tax profile settings
3.3 Device & Usage Data
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- IP address, app usage patterns, and session information
- Crash reports and diagnostic data to improve stability
3.4 Payment & Subscription Data
Subscription payments are processed through third-party payment processors (such as Razorpay or Google Play Billing). We do not store complete credit/debit card numbers. We receive transaction confirmation, subscription plan details, and renewal dates.
4 How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the MenuPOS application and its features
- Process subscription payments and manage your account
- Send transactional communications — billing receipts, subscription renewals, important service updates
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries

- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for third-party marketing, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.
6 Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers located in India or on cloud infrastructure governed by industry-standard security practices. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures including:

7 Data Retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you cancel your subscription and delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by Indian law (e.g., financial records under the Companies Act or GST regulations).
Aggregated, anonymised analytics data (with no personally identifiable information) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.
8 Your Rights
As a user, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: You may update or correct inaccurate data directly within the app or by contacting us.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Portability: You may request an export of your business data (orders, menus, customer records) in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: You may object to certain processing activities where we rely on legitimate interests.

9 Children's Privacy
MenuPOS is a business application intended for adults operating or managing food service establishments. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.
11 Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of MenuPOS after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
